Monsignor Thomas J. Morgan, Pastor

Monsignor Morgan, was appointed pastor of St. Thomas More Parish, Cherry Hill, NJ, in April 2003.

     Msgr. Morgan is a graduate of St. Kieran’s College, Kilkenny, Ireland, where he earned a degree in Philosophy.  He has a doctorate in organizational and career psychology from Temple University.  Msgr. also has degrees from Seton Hall University and Iona College.

     Msgr. Morgan was ordained a priest in Ireland in 1965.  He came to the United States and the Camden diocese shortly after ordination.  Msgr. Morgan served as the Diocesan Vocation Director for ten years.  He was the Director of the Diocesan Counseling Office in Longport, NJ for ten years.  He served as pastor of Queen of Apostles Parish, Pennsville, NJ and Christ the King Parish, Haddonfield, NJ.

     Msgr. Morgan is a NJ licensed psychologist, a NJ licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, a NJ Certified School Psychologist, and a registered psychologist of the Psychological Society of Ireland.

     Msgr. Morgan has authored more than thirty publications in religion and psychology in national journals and magazines.
